Limitless Walls
GOALGet shoppers past the fear of a big project, without leaning on discounts.
Limitless Walls makes custom wall murals and wallpaper in the USA. When we started, the program leaned on big discounts like 40% off. But price was not what stopped people. A wall mural is a daunting project, and shoppers worried it would look wrong or be hard to put up. So we rebuilt the whole Klaviyo strategy around one answer to that fear: try a sample first.
By the numbers
Strategy behind the numbers.
The real barrier was not price. It was anxiety. Every play answers that one fear with a sample.
Lead with samples, not discounts
We stopped opening with 40% off. Campaigns now invite people to start small with a sample, and every email carries a “Try it before you buy it” module. The message changed from “buy now, it’s cheap” to “see it on your wall first.”

Swap the discount for a sample in abandonment flows
When someone browses, adds to cart or leaves checkout, the old flows pushed a discount. The new ones offer a sample instead: see the color in real light, feel the texture, and learn that this is an easy DIY install, not a huge project.

Turn every sample into a full-price mural
A sample order is a buying signal, so we built a post-sample flow. Once tracking shows the sample arrived, a short plain-text note from Krysten on their team asks how it looks and offers to start a quote for the full mural. A second note checks in on the project.
Flow revenue is Klaviyo-attributed, Oct 8, 2025 to Oct 7, 2026 (sample flows live since Jan 2026).
By switching their email marketing strategy from discounting to samples, Limitless Walls grew business revenue 27% and earned $70K in extra contribution margin in two months.
